located in the Bhagwan Mahaweer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, in
Sanguem Taluka. The River Mandovi begins on the Deccan Plateau in Karnataka
and winds its way through the Western Ghats cascading from the highest peaks on
the Goa-Karnataka border.
