The other name of Ooty is Udhagamandalam. It is also called as the “Queen of Hills Stations”. It is located at the tri junction of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. It is about 7350 feet Or (2,240 m) above the sea level. Ooty is endowed with extraordinary scenic beauty in the midst of Nilgiris. Nilgiris is also called as Blue Mountain because of its misty blue clouds with peaceful ranges.
