Mysore, previously known as Mysuru, is the third largest and second most populated city of Karnataka. Situated right at the foot of Chamundi Hills, Mysore was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore. The rich cultural environment of Mysore has earned it the moniker of Cultural Capital of Karnataka.

Meet on arrival at Mysore Railway station. Start two days Mysore tour, visit and the Mysore Zoo, one of the oldest and well maintained Zoo in India. And also visit Karanji Lake, a picturesque lake located at the footsteps of Chamundi Hills. Later drive to Srirangapatna were you will visit Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, Tipu’s Summer Palace, Srirangapatna Fort, Gumbuz, Nimishamba Temple and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary (seasonal). Later drive to KRS-Brindavan Gardens a show garden that has botanical park with fountains as well as a musical fountain. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Chamundi Hills to pay your obeisance to Goddess Chamundeshwari at Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back to the city you will see Statue of Mahishasura, Nandi and at the viewpoint get a bird’s eye view of Mysore city. Later down the hill a visit historical Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel and Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery. After lunch you will visit Mysore Palace, one of the largest palaces in the country and in the evening the beautiful St.Philomena’s Church – the most majestic churches in India. Later get transferred to Mysore Railway Station.
